To avoid totally overwhelming the Old War Dogs site with twenty or thirty posts for every one anyone else does there I've started a "satellite site," Bill's Bites. It's basically a continuation of this site but with an improved layout. I also still post occasionally at Old War Dogs.

Late last night, I crept in to your room.

I pried the milk bottle from your tiny little fingers and placed cold water within arms’ reach. I turned you, so your face was not buried in the pillow, and covered you up with the handmade blankets that your Grandma made for you.
