Sgt. Leigh Ann Hester :: A key point the MilBlogs overlooked

Remember Sgt. Leigh Ann Hester, "the first American woman awarded the Silver Star since World War II"?

Blackfive posted the After Action Report for the battle during which she earned the reward here, Defense Link announced the award here, and every MilBlogger worthy of the term did their best to get the word out to the rest of the world. After all that, it took Sachi at Big Lizards to notice a key point that everyone else has failed to mention. Sgt.
