Happy Veterans' Day

To my fellow vets, young and old: Thank you for your service. I'm not very good at the "waxing eloquent" thing so for now I'm going to keep this short and try to come back later with links to some of the better posts I see on the blogs of those who are, or maybe even an MSM article or two if I catch someone getting it right.

Thank you Michelle Malkin for not only remembering Veterans' Day but also using the occasion to remind people about Project Valour-IT and Soldiers' Angels. I can't think of a better way to honor veterans of all ages than by helping take care of this generation's wounded warriors.

Don't miss this great post at La Shawn Barber's.

Don't miss Uncle Jimbo's post on Blackfive.

Daughter of mine, you still know how to bring tears to your daddy's eyes.
