Folks. I don't know which I'm prouder of my man Fred for, dropping the hammer on the NEA or setting that schoolmarm straight about show-of-hands questions. I'm still haven't given up hoping for a Thompson/Hunter ticket ; we don't need another Arkansas huckster in the White House, or someone who thinks America ends at the Mason-Dixon line going south and the Pennsylvania/Ohio line going west, or someone who believes in equal rights for jihadis and illegal immigrants.

Debate commentary on other sites:

Folks, I lived in Iowa for 5 years and came away with a lot of respect for the people there. I'm really, really, optimistic that after the caucuses a lot of people are going to have to accept Fred Dalton Thompson as a top-tier candidate, which he has been in my mind for months. BTW, check out Fred's immigration thoughts here. I don't see a thing to not like.
