Sorry for the late start. It took me right on two hours after I got up this morning to get online; a combination of my sister forgetting to pay the cable bill, stupidity at the cable company (Once a month my sister forgets to send them money until they shut us off, then when she calls and pays by echeck they turn the TV signal back on and forget to turn on the internet till she calls back to remind them) and an ethernet cable I'd replace if I could afford to. My right eyeball has blood floating around inside it, probably due to having to crawl under the desk and pull the computer out to swap cables around to prove the internet problem was at the cable company and not Vonage. I'll try to do some catching up as soon as I finish catching my breath but the thing with my eye is a bit distractin. Past experience says it will settle down gradually over the next few days and the only long-term fix, assuming it even works as advertised, involves laser surgery in downtown St Louis so I'm a long way from breaking down and having it done.
